We did a lot today. John finally got his hair cut, we bought paint for the kitchen, approved the wax of our engagement ring and replaced our cell phones. Our phones were very very old. John’s lost so many phones at this point that they won’t let us get insurance, so replacing a phone means paying full price. Unless you’re John. Then it means that you are eligible for some kind of special discount whereby your new $400 Motorola Q only costs $100. I’m still not sure how this happened. I too benefited from John’s loss. I am now the semi-embarassed owner of a pale pink Razr. Yeah. We’ve been sitting around in an exhausted stupor figuring out how to use our new gadgets. Then I realized I was due for a post. So, here are some highlights from John’s party last night:

You look wonderful! Seems like you all had a great time at the party. Happy belated birthday to John!
Ok, I am SSSOOO jealous of your pink phone. I salivate over them. Really.
And Happy B-day to John, you all look like it was a wonderful time!
pale pink for october breast cancer awareness.
don’t be embarrassed!!
Kelly, my mother said the same thing last night when I told her about it. I’ll admit that now I really love it. It’s different, cool and limited edition.
Erin, bear in mind that even those of us who are technologically skillful have discovered that we are too stupid to use this phone or understand its icons. You may be the luckier one for being in the position to merely salivate.
Thank you for posting only forgiving photos–(there’s only so much you can do with some material) Where’dya get the cool necklace?
fabulous pictures, I really do love your blog, if only I had been up to trying every kind of bourbon on that menu that night. unfortunately, mi cuerpo had other plans.
pink phone! how is it they managed to make a pink phone so technically difficult? this seems wrong. but with pink you can never go wrong. pink is the new black. as are white, red, and yellow.
